The Band of Brothers: Concert Schedule

Sometimes a show comes along that just clicks on every level - and today was one of those shows. We were very grateful to be invited to help Rushford celebrate Labor Day. Thank you, we are already looking forward to returning next year!

What a fun day! Playing the banjo while folks got on the train, singing songs from car to car during the train ride, an on-stage performance at the depot in Curriers, NY and then back on the train and singing all the way back to Arcade! Truly, it is for days like this that we are so very grateful to be musicians.

Great time - we played a bunch of old & new favorites.

We love being fed before a show, and feed us they did. Turkey, taters & pie. Not bad at all. Jamie was absent with the flu, so we were a quartet for the evening.

I can't think of a better place to host our 7th anniversary concert - these kind folks gave us all kinds of encouragement when we were just starting out - and the food is always the best - we are grateful beyond measure. We were in high harmony tonight - and took the chance to showcase some new songs - thank you, thank you, thank you, to our friends in South Dansville!

Up on a stage in a barn! Plenty of apple pie & cider! Clydesdales pulling a wagon! Ponies everywhere! Does it get any better than this? I'm telling ya - if you missed this, you missed a fine day!

What a night! Wow! The weather threatened to turn very sour, so with reluctance we decided to move the venue to Babcock Park - wondering if our audience would disappear. Not so. The house was packed before we could finish our set-up and folks kept on coming throughout the evening. 

We dodged the Raindrops & Moquitoes and had a hoot with the great crowd that turned out for last night's show. One of the best audiences of the year!! Our thanks to all who organized & welcomed us.

The posters said "back by popular demand" and the reception we received proved it - we can only hope we get invited to perform here again!

A beautiful evening - a great audience - and a generous donation to Vincent House was raised.

We were honored to be asked to perform at the Arkport Exchange Club's 80th Anniversary Dinner. Exchange is an all-volunteer, national service organization for men and women who want to serve their community, develop leadership skills and enjoy new friendships. Exchange is made up of nearly 800 clubs and more than 25,000 members throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
We had a great time singing, eating and meeting new friends. Thanks to all!

The house (or store if you prefer) was packed last night for our 18th arrearance at Burlingham Books, and we had a great time picking & singing. The band debuted a few songs: Jamie's "Tax Collector Calypso" and band renditions of "Chilly Winds" and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee." Mike's son Sean took the stage for two of his original numbers (Sean will be doing a solo gig at Burlingham in May), and Jamie's daughters Allysa and Lindsey joined the chorus for the closer ("I'll Fly Away".) Thanks to all who came out to support live music & live musicians!

Last night The Band of Brothers traveled to Lockport, NY to perform at the Lighthouse Cafe. What an evening! One of the best audiences we have ever had the pleasure to appear in front of! The house was packed with about 100 music-lovers & we were inspired to give all we had. What a gas to see the audience clapping and singing along with original tunes like "The Cat Song" and "Old Uncle Joe" - songs they had never heard before! And what a response to our old-timey songs! Henry Robin has remarked several times how audiences are starving for these songs, and last night certainly proved him right -as the crowd sang along with "Tom Dooley," "Take Me In Your Lifeboat," "Turn You Radio On" and others. I could go on & on - if you were there, please accept my sincere thanks for your enthusiasm for our music - we hope to see you again soon! This was our 17th performance at the best book store in Wyoming County! Christmas songs were the order of the evening. Good cheer with good friends.

Great audience - great meal - great little town. Who could ask for more?And thanks to everyone who helped us move our equipment to the stage!

What a nice evening! So many friends and neighbors in the audience! The library ballroom is a local hidden treasure & it was an honor to perform there. Support your local library!

Terrific time tonight! The house was packed and the food was wonderful. Who could ask for more? (By the way - this marked our 175th appearance as a group!)

The rain held off and the sun shined - a great day for a picnic. It felt good to be performing in our hometown again!

The intense thunder storm of the early morning gave rise to a beautiful day. As occurred last year, we were honored to follow the legendary "Salty" Austin on stage. Salty is celebrating his 90th birthday in September. It is amazing (and inspiring) that he is performing and entertaining at his ripe age - he is truly a Living Legend.

Wow! Was this the gig of the year? Certainly, a great hall and a great audience greeted us tonight. We felt blessed to perform in such a historic venue.

This was our 6th appearance at this yearly BBQ - the weather cooperated this year and we had a great time playing in our home town.

A beautiful church inside and out - with terrific acoustics for singing and playing. It was fun being back in Caledonia, too.

It's always good to play at Burlingham - we debuted 2 songs tonight: Jamie's "Castle On The Hill" and Alan's "Silent Ocean."

We had to drive through a blinding snowstorm to get to the gig - but it was worth the trouble - great audience & a beautiful room to sing in!

Tonight marked our 10th appearance at our favorite book store! It was cold outside, but we warmed things up!

It's always a blessing to be here each Thanksgiving week! This was our 4th appearance - we are very grateful to be able to offer our efforts to this ministry.
